What are CreditCovers?
CreditCovers are "skins" for your credit cards. Not
just credit cards, actually, but all kinds of plastic:
credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, cash cards, loyalty cards, store cards, gift
cards can all be CreditCovered!
Think about it - there are three things you probably never leave the house with: your cell, your ID, and your credit card. You don't let your mom choose your clothes, so why would you let your bank choose how your cards look? Why not have some cool, original art on your cards - a different CreditCover for every card!
Will CreditCovers damage my cards?
No way dude! CreditCovers apply easily, and come off without a hitch. Your cards will work just fine in swipe machines, ATM's, and even in old skool manual imprint machines.
Can I put CreditCovers through the ATM?
Absolutely! We use CreditCover'd ATM cards every single day, and we've never had a problem. Go for it!
Do CreditCovers work with "Smart" Cards"?
Yes & No!
No, if you are ordering a stock design from our website. If your card has a "Smart chip", as many European VISA cards do, our stock CreditCovers will cover the chip, and your card will not work with the CreditCover applied. So, the designs on our site will not work with Smart Cards -- we are in the process however of adding our Universal designs in the near future, so CHECK BACK!
YES! If you are ordering CUSTOM CREDITCOVERS, we now have a Universal Design which works with both Smart and "Dumb" (chipless) cards. Essentially, there is a removable flap where the chip is, so if the users have a smart chip, that can remove it to expose the chip. If they don't they can leave the flap in tact, without compromising the design. When you place a custom order, we will ask if you want the universal design.
How long do CreditCovers last?
Forever! Seriously, they last a long, long time. And if yours ever wears out, we'll replace it, free!
Are CreditCovers removable? re-usable?
CreditCovers are removable, but they are not re-usable. Your CreditCover will stay on your card by itself as long as you want it to. If you ever want to remove your CreditCover, just peel it off (you might need to use a bit of something like Goo-Gone to get the adhesive off your card). Once you've removed the CreditCover, you'll see that you can't re-use it; the best thing to do at this point would be to toss it in a handy recycling bin.
CreditCovers are not...
- CreditCovers are not slipcovers - they only apply to the front of your cards, not the back
- CreditCovers are not credit cards - you have to have one of those already!
